Pet care experience
I've been a dog and cat owner my whole life, and I have extensive experience caring for dogs professionally as a groomer and from working at a pet inn. I do tons of research on pet care in my spare time because I genuinely love taking care of animals and want to do the best job possible. If you pets need special care, I have experience in administering medicine topically and orally. I have my own grooming tools and can do nail trims and touch-up grooming as needed. I am happy to provide pictures and video of your pets while they are in my care upon request. I can also do light cleaning and housework during dog sitting visits if you would like, but otherwise I will only clean up after your fur babies as needed. :)

I would like to know the dog's general personality and things they like or dislike, for example whether they are food-motivated and what kinds of treats are acceptable. Any health concerns or allergies are also important for me to know, and I will provide you with paperwork so I can have those things documented. I will also ask you for your pet's vet information in case of an emergency. If there is a very serious emergency regarding your dog, my number one priority will be to get your dog to the nearest available vet and to notify you immediately.
A typical day
My apartment is very close to the LSU campus, so your pup and I can take walks there, that way they get to smell some new and interesting smells. :) I'm also happy to take your dog walking around the LSU lakes or to any of the local dog parks, as long as you're comfortable with it. (Obviously this also depends on whether the dog parks are open or closed due to the coronavirus situation.)
