Pet care experience
I've never known a life without animals and our house felt like a zoo more often than not. I am the current owner of Margo, a rescue mix of a whopping 10 lbs, and once she comes out of her shell, she would love to play with any dogs that come over! You can trust that your pet would be in the best of hands. I've worked with cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils... I even had ducks at one point in time (I was not exaggerating on the zoo part). Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy!

Katelyn is an absolute gem who incessantly spoils her pups rotten to the point where they are over her affections. I suspect she’s joining Rover so she can spoil your pups rotten as well.

You won't have to worry if your pet stays with me! I have a fenced in yard that gives your dog plenty of room to stretch their legs and play. Margo, my current pup, will always be around so even when I'm at work, they'll always have some company - and work is just a short drive away so I can always pop back home. You'll have the comfort of knowing that any instructions you leave with me will be followed, and that your pet would be treated like my own, but if you have any concerns, I'm just a quick phone call/ text away! Do you have a "High-Maintenance" dog? Let's talk! I have a flexible work environment that allows me to work at home every now and then if necessary. I understand if your dog isn't *quite* housetrained, if they get a little anxious when they're home alone, if they have special medications or other needs. All I ask is that you're completely upfront with me so that I can care for your pet in the best way possible. And of course, I will send all the photos while you're gone:)

I've experienced dogs of many sizes and many ages. I don't back away from a dog who needs special care because chances are, at one point in my life, I had a dog who needed a little extra attention and care. Just be honest and upfront about the kinds of things your dog needs to feel loved and happy while you're gone and I'll do my absolute best to make it happen.
A typical day
Fortunately, we live in Colorado, so there is an abundance of fun, outdoor activities for me to do with your dog! One of my favorite things to do is to go to the Westminster Dog Park near Standley Lake or if they enjoy water, playing fetch with them at Boulder creek. But let me know what your dog loves to do!

Availability
I currently work a very flexible 9-5 schedule, but my job is nearby so I'm able to run home during the middle of the day to let the dogs out if need be. I'm comfortable letting pets have the run of the house, but I can also fence off a section of the kitchen to make them feel a little more secure. Afternoons and evenings are times for walks, playing in the backyard, and cuddles on the couch! In the evening I'll work with you to figure out where the best place for your dog to sleep is.
