Pet care experience
I love dogs and have experience mostly with mid to large breeds (Airedales, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Labrador mixes) but would love to meet your pup of any size! I will give your furry friend(s) some rules and boundaries mixed with lots of exercise and attention so that they can rest and relax when it's not play time. In the past, I helped my dog earn his degree from Animal Friends "Companion Dog Manners" class as well as volunteered at the Rescue as a dog walker. My dog passed away and I currently just own one cat so I'd love to enjoy spending time with dogs again on a regular basis through Rover! I am level headed, accountable, educated and trustworthy. Let's meet to see if I'm the right caretaker for your pooch!

Katelyn was amazing with our energetic 1year old pups. They LOVED her as soon as they met her and she had an impressively calming effect on them- clearly a dog lover! She was available with relatively short notice and took excellent care of the pups and our house! I highly recommend her!
Katelyn did a wonderful job caring for our pups while we were out of town for a week. I received daily updates with pictures and videos of my beloved dogs. As hard as it is for us to leave them, I felt like they were receiving excellent care in my absence with Katelyn. She was very kind and friendly, and our dogs liked her instantly. She even went above and beyond to tidy up the house and water my plants. The place looked better when we got back than when we left! :-) I would highly recommend Katelyn as a pet sitter.

I would like to know his or her general routine and temperament. I'm open to any breeds but don't want dogs who have never heard "no" before in their lives, to be honest. :-) Manners are nice.
A typical day
I'm outdoorsy and like to walk, hike, run and bike. The same holds true for my sons who are dog lovers too. I like playing fetch with dogs and grooming them. Feeding them in "interesting" ways like spreading out the food or putting it into an interactive feeding mat that ensures safe, slow consumption.

Pet care fits into my schedule on mornings, evenings, weekends. I am not able to care for them approximately 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
