Pet care experience
I have lived with a dog ever since I was 4 years old and dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since! My family has had the following breeds that I have helped care for: Pomeranian bichon mix, shih tzu Yorkshire terrier mix, and husky German Shepard mix. I have been a volunteer dog walker at a nearby humane society for about one year and have been enjoying it, but am looking for further opportunities through rover.com to further reach out to my community. I look forward to giving your dog(s) the extra time and love they need to stay happy and healthy! I plan to make each visit equally as fun and enjoyable as it is for me for your pet. Katelyn did a really nice job for us. We needed to be gone all day for a family event and Katelyn walked our dog Cooper at both noon and 4 pm. She was prompt and walked him for a good half hour each time. She also dropped by a few days prior to the scheduled dog walking to meet us and Cooper and get the lay of the land. Again, she was prompt, as well as good-natured and easy to talk to. I would recommend Katelyn if you need a dog walker.

A typical day
I will go on walks around your neighborhood, nearby parks, or the dog park (if given the owner's approval). We can play with his/her favorite toy, run around in your backyard, be shown extra love and affection by being pet and cuddled. I can send you pictures during our time together.
