Hi my name is Kate, I am a huge animal lover with over 15 years of pet sitting experience for all kinds of breeds from Malinois to Yorkies. I attended Petropolis Academy in Chesterfield MO for Animal Behavior/ Dog Training School, and Graduated in 2011. This is my full time job, so I will be able to pay extra attention to your fur babies. I am a very active person and enjoy as many walks as I can take a day. I promise will go above and beyond to make you and your companions lives a little easier. References available upon request.

I could tell from the first time that Kate met our girl Roxie that it was the right fit! Our girl immediately dug the positive energy that Kate exudes. We couldn’t have found a better dog walker/friend for our pup.
Katelyn did an AMAZING job caring for our fur-baby, Ghost! She sent us videos and picture while we were away (perfect for this helicopter owner), and was incredibly attentive to his needs. We will definitely be using Katelyn in the future when we need to go away!
We were in a pinch to board our dog, Daizy, and needed a last minute boarding. I just happened to discover rover.com and Katelyn was available last minute. What a blessing. I have never liked boarding her in a kennel situation, but I didn't have any other options. Katelyn took great care of Daizy, providing her with the love and attention that she needed, and in her home, too. I loved knowing that we had someone who would give her the same care we would. Daizy came home a happy and loved on dog. We look forward to a long friendship.

I create individual care plans for each pet with their parents. I know each animal is unique and may have more needs than others. If your dog is terrified of thunderstorms and there is one rolling in- I will make them a comfort spot and stay with them if they need. I will not have your dogs off leash unless in a closed dog park (at your request) I will never take your dogs anywhere without your permission.

Is your dog up to date on shot records? Rabies, DHLPPC (distemper combo) Spayed or Neutered? Is there any type of person (children, men, etc.) your dog routinely dislikes or fears? Is there any type of dog (specific breed, male, female, size, etc.) your dog seems to have a problem with? Does your dog get frightened by unfamiliar noises? If so, please explain. Has your dog ever jumped or climbed over a fence? If so, how high? Will your dog readily share toys with other dogs?
A typical day
I love taking long walks and hikes with dogs. I usually try to take different routes each time just so it’s exciting for them. Hikes I usually try to get done before noon in the summer due to the heat- but fall and winter will be available all day. If a walk around your neighborhood is something that makes you more comfortable, I am more than happy to do so. I am here for your comfort just as much as your pets.
