I am a dog lover who has always had a dog in the house. I have experience with puppies and small to large dogs (80 lbs.), leash reactivity, and simple obedience training. I'm comfortable using multiple different collars and harnesses that fit your dog's needs on walks. I grew up in a small, rural town around all sorts of dogs, hunting dogs, working dogs, and of course house dogs! I currently have a 8 year old hound mix (rescue) that has taught me a lot over the last few years, especially about reactivity and anxiety. It has allowed me to become in-tune with dog behavior and notice when to allow dogs to greet one another and when not to. Your dog's safety and happiness is my number 1 priority! I am currently a part-time contract worker for a nonprofit so my hours and schedule are flexible to fit your and your best friend's needs. Your trust and the safety of your best friend is the most important to me. I am not afraid to ask questions to be sure I am providing the best care while you are away.
