Hello There! My name is Katelyn and I'm a full time nurse, photography business owner, and lover of all animals! I have been an animal lover all my life. I was (and still am) that kid that brought home all of the animals that needed a home. I have had dogs from great danes to chihuahuas and I also absolutely adore cats! I haven't come across a single animal that I haven't gotten along with, even those animals that people say "don't like anyone" seem to do just fine with me. This isn't just another thing I need to do in the day, I absolutely look forward to seeing and loving your animals for you while you're away! Katelyn is amazing with my kitty. I’ve used her 3 times now. She’s so friendly and conscientious. My cat actually remembered her and ran up to her even though he hadn’t seen her in a little over a year!

I've had so many animals that nothing really catches me off guard anymore. I know that some cats / dogs will sprint for the door if I even look in the door's direction, so I'm always exceptionally careful when it comes to opening doors. Usually I throw a toy or treat away from the door and sneak out real quick. I also know animal cues exceptionally well, so that reduces my risk of being harmed while caring for animals. For example; I can tell when a cat is about to pounce on me, lol, I've had so many cats that it's second nature now. Or when a dog is uncomfortable with me around, I don't keep bothering them. I always wait for them to feel comfortable with me, I will never and have never forced it. I always wait for the animal to come to me, and that's one reason why I've never had an incident on the job.

I would like to know if your cat or dog has any spots that they don't like to be touched. I have no breed preferences whatsoever, I love all animals of any breed. :)
A typical day
When it comes to watching your pets, I always go based off of what they want. Sometimes they're more playful, or sometimes they LOVE to hang out next to me for scratches. Sometimes they just want to sit in the corner and stare at me and that's fine too, whatever they want to do, I just roll with it!

Availability
I am currently a full time nurse so I work 12 hour shifts 3x a week. If that schedule works okay for you, I absolutely love taking time to relax and hang out with animals! It truly brings a sense of peace into my life, I have adored every animal I've taken care of! Some of them start to feel like family to me after caring for them for a long period of time. Visiting and caring for your pets is a highlight in my day!
