I have no breed preferences, and thankfully my apartment has no restrictions on breeds either. All are happily welcomed. A few important things I like to know about other dogs is if they get along well with other dogs, and if they are capable to walk on a leash when meeting new friends. Getting along with other dogs is important due to the fact there are a lot of other pups in and around my apartment complex. I also have a high energy dog who loves to make new friends, so being friendly is a must.

Living in an apartment, I do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have a few dog parks close by. Ijams nature center is also less than ten minutes from the apartment complex, and provides lots of fun trails to go for walks on as well as provide a change in scenery.
