You may be wondering sets me apart? For me, this is more than just a job. I genuinely love what I do. That in mind, in this home, you can have peace of mind and trust that your fur baby will be loved and cared for. That is guaranteed. I’ve had a soft heart for animals ever since I was a little, especially for dogs. I treat them with kindness, gentleness, and respect. Throughout the years, I’ve gained a lot of my experience with friends and family entrusting me to take care of their dogs. My priority is to make sure their needs are met and they are happy and comfortable. I have continued chasing my passion on Rover because I have what it takes to be the ideal dog sitter others are looking for. I love that I can provide the Sacramento area the opportunity to be able to choose a sitter they can truly trust to care for their dog in a very loving environment. For the last three years, I’ve also had a dog of my own. He’s a Bichon Frisé and his name is Nacho. I have also recently adopted a Shih Tzu / Beagle mix puppy in the beginning of 2023 and his name is Pluto. Both are seen as and treated like a member of the family. Your little fur baby will be treated just the same. I encourage meet and greets if you are open to it. I love getting to know my clients prior to booking, so I can hear more about your dogs routine, temperament, and anything else you would like me know. I really care about both making sure you feel comfortable choosing me, and that your dog leaves after his/her stay as a happy pup.

Katelyn was AMAZING!! She took such good care of our Dooby! She constantly updated us! He looked soooo happy! She was even able to get him out of his shell and was able to play with her dogs. I couldn't be happier!
Katelyn was great! We met before the stay to be sure that my dog and her dog got along…no problem! Katelyn is a great communicator and sent pictures of our dog to keep us updated. Our dog seemed very happy when we picked her up and seemed to be very well taken care of! It’s obvious to see that Katelyn is a dog- lover. I definitely recommend her to others!!!

In a typical day, this is what you can expect: When you arrive to drop off your dog, as sweet as Nacho is, he likes to think he’s the boss of the house and protect his pawrents, so if he knows you’re here, you may hear him barking. Nacho and Pluto are both socialized and love making new furry friends. However, we prefer to avoid exciting or startling the dogs, so we ask our clients do not ring the doorbell, and send us a text when they arrive and we meet them out in the front of the house by the driveway. During their visit, they will have a lot of attention, and I’ll be sure to send you photos of your dog throughout his/her stay. We would keep your dog indoors during the duration of their visit, and we have a yard we take them to for convenient potty breaks, and we also take the dogs on routinely walks. We regularly take our dogs around the neighborhood and near by trails every day and will do the same for yours, if that’s what you prefer. We have a safe and clean home, and we make sure to always have a bowl of fresh water readily available. If your dog likes to play, we have lots of toys that our fur babies would love to share with yours. If your dog prefers to lounge around, we have throw blankets and dog beds. If your dog is a cuddler, he/she will have lots of cuddles from me and my husband. If you are booking me for an overnight, we like to keep them in the room with us at bed time so they don’t feel alone. In this home, you can be assured that your pup will be cared for and showered with the love that they deserve.

I’m home full time with my husband who is home most days and we make sure to be very attentive to each dog and their needs. My schedule is flexible and I am available for doggy day care and boarding on both week days and weekends.
