My favorite dogs are the "non-traditional" ones: ones with disabilities, large dogs, elderly dogs, and especially the clever troublemakers. They have all found a soft spot in my heart over my four years of working at a local vet clinic as a kennel girl, where I walk dogs and feed, water, and medicate dogs and cats that stay with us. While I've had four years of professional animal care experience, I've lived for 20 years in which we've always had a dog and/or a cat in the house. I'm willing to attempt to help with teaching manners on and off leash for the dogs who need it, but I am not a professional, only a lifelong pet owner. If they have any favorite toys or activities that they like during, before, or after walks, I will gladly play that with them, too! Cats also have a very warm place in my heart, and I'd be more than happy to care for any cats in the household as well!
