I worked as a dog walker during my grad and undergrad degrees until I adopted my own dog. I dove into the world of positive reinforcement dog training after adopting her, as she was very nervous. We’ve taken local classes in Pittsburgh as well as online classes through Fenzi Dog Sports Academy, Calm Canine Academy, and Absolute Dogs.

Katelyn is great and very responsible
A lifesaver! Katelyn relieves all of my worries when we are at work. She took the time to meet our dog before starting to walk her and I could tell she is great with animals. Diamond is usually skiddish around new people but warmed up to her right away. She sends updates during the visit and always sends pictures which makes my day!! So thankful to have her as our dog walker and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!!
We were thrilled to have found Katelyn! And she lives in our neighborhood. Katelyn took such great care of our sweet boy. She sent us daily pics of Harvey on walks, playing fetch, and generally being a cute little dude. Harvey is a rescue and has some idiosyncrasies, shall we say, that are obnoxious, but Katelyn just went with the flow and I know that Harvey had a good time because of that. BTW, this was Harvey's first time being away from us since his adoption. :)
Katelyn was really fantastic. She took Abby for a lot of walks and sent many updates. You can tell she just loves animals.

I’m especially experienced with reactive dogs, herding breeds, and dogs with high chase drives, but I like all breeds! I would want to know about any quirks your dog may have, any allergies, special diet information, favorite toys, preference for food or toys, and any fears.
A typical day
It depends on what your dog likes to do! I love hiking, but I can also play training games! I like to provide a balance between rest and activity.

I typically don’t accept new clients unless they get along well with my dog, but I work from home and can provide plenty of doggy attention and activities whenever I take a break.
