Pet care experience
I was raised with a variety of animals growing up from cats and dogs to horses and goats. I loved having them around and caring for them. In my adult years I have lived with friend’s dogs and loved helping care for them. I’ve also done some dog and cat care for friends and family throughout the years. You can expect your pet to be cherished, & directions followed!

Katelyn was so kind to my cats and very easy to communicate with. When I left my one elderly cat, Mika, was on three medications, and barely eating her food. I was pretty worried about leaving her! Katelyn made sure Mika got all her medications and was able to coax her to eat much more than I was able to! I was happy to come home to a cat that was in much better health than I left.
Katelyn has a calmness about her that really helped our pack. Our pack is a little high maintenance but Katelyn kept the same rules and routine we do. We also returned to a clean house and happy dogs. I would highly recommend her!
Katelyn was absolutely wonderful to work with. The love that she holds within her heart for the animals in her care is very evident. I highly recommend her.
I would absolutely leave my pup with Katelyn again! She was sweet and caring and worked around my schedule. More importantly, she kept my pup in his routine, and gave him tons of attention. I got updates and pictures. It warmed my heart that he was in such good hands. I couldn't give her a higher recommendation. Thank you!

I’m happy to see/hear what pet care looks like for you and follow suit! I do great following directions. On furniture/not on furniture, leash walls or find dog parks, feeding times, practice specific training techniques you’re working on… etc! I am comfortable holding your pets boundaries if they have specific training, and enjoy a good play time. I’d be joyed to take them hiking if that’s something they would mutually enjoy.

I’d love to know their training level and specific words you use so I can follow suit. Also would love to know their favorite activities, any sensitivities they have (other dogs/humans/sounds etc) and any medical needs worth being aware of.
A typical day
I’m interested in learning what they love, their energy levels and playfully wearing them out so they can rest well. I’m happy to share company for more mellow pooches, play fetch and would be joyed to take them on hikes that match their needs.

Availability
Im a full time graduate student in an online asynchronous program which means Im busy though have a lot of flexibility as for timing and days of the week. It’s also very easy to love on the animals while I’m working!
