Pet care experience

GREETINGS TO MY FURRY AND NOT SO FURRY FRIENDS, FOR IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO YEARS SINCE I’VE BEEN INVOLVED WITH ROVER.COM.🐾 I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL, IMMENSELY!!! Long story short as to why I had to quit abruptly for working through Rover, is because my mom unfortunately suffered from a Major Ischemic Stroke. She is doing FINE! She is now in a wheelchair working on walking once again! COMMUNITY WALKS LISTED HERE For the month of November I will be donating ALL WALK proceeds to the Cerebral Palsy Organization until I reach my goal of $300. Please let me know if this would be something you are interested in and we’ll set it up. Continue sending me requests through the Rover app so that I do not get any negative repercussions from fundraising or taking clientele away from rover. They will still take 20% but anything outside of the 20% for rover will be donated. Thank you ALL! BOARDING SERVICES ARE NOW OPEN! If you would prefer your pets stay in the comfort of my home, it is now an option! I only accept dogs who are potty-trained and are low to moderate energy level for my roommate has severe back problems; safety first! ***I am doing Rover full-time, but as we become slower in the winter months, I may have to get another part-time job to compensate*** ***ALL NEW AND OLD CLIENTELE MUST UNDERGO A MEET AND GREET WITH ME to make sure that it’s a great fit for everyone, and to go over potential changes with past clients. It is also so that I can learn any and all things about your pets to ensure they have a wonderful time with me. Meet & Greets should only take about an hour. I have a Meet and Greet checklist that we will both go over that discusses Safety, Feeding, Medications, etc. If a second Meet and Greet is warranted, I charge $20 per additional Meet and Greet. CANCELLATION NOTICES AND FEES I need to know at least ONE week PRIOR to the sitting services if you need to cancel. If it is under a week of notice, I still reserve the right to receive 50% of the booking cost. This is in place simply because I need time to refill those slots if necessary. But I DO understand that emergencies happen and they will be discussed accordingly!!! Depending on distance to and from Meridian, a $5-$10/ fee per night may be necessary if the services requested are farther away from me to help with gas expenses; each request and distance will be discussed by a case-by-case fashion. But for reference, if it's up to but does not exceed past a half-hour away, $5.00 may be added. Anything above 30 minutes will be a $10.00 add on charge to help with gas expenses. CANINES WHO ARE YOUNGER THAN 1 YEAR OF AGE Any dogs under a year old who are not potty-trained, will be required to pay an extra $15 per night for clean ups and training for house sitting services. I will continue training with your puppy when you’re away; that includes taking them outside every 2-4 hours during the day and at night to deter them away from forming habitual accidents in the house as well as tons of praise and treats! With that said, Rover considers my fee to be applicable to ALL dogs under a year old when the owners send a boarding/ sitting request. If your dog is under a year-old and IS potty-trained, this fee does not apply to you! PRICING ***Rover reserves the right to take 20% of all sitting service costs. With that said, tips are never expected-but always appreciated.🐾*** Pricing may vary depending on the number of dogs/cats/animals who need to be cared for, but regular pricing goes as follows: HOUSE SITTING/ DOG BOARDING RATES: ***I consider puppies to be dogs under the age of 1 year old*** 1 Puppy: $35 + $10 training fee - $45/ per night ADULT DOGS 1 dog: $35/ per night $15 per additional dog. House sitting only: FELINES 1 cat: *$15/ per day per cat LONGER STAY DISCOUNTS  If you plan on leaving your furry family members in my care for more than two weeks, an additional 5% discount will be applied.  If you plan on leaving your animals in my care for up to or more than 30 days, an additional 10% discount will be applied. CHECK-IN SERVICES *30-minute check-ins start at $20. *1 hour check in visits start at $30. WALKS 1 dog for half hour- $20 +$10 per additional (up to 4 dogs) 1 dog for one hour- $30 + $15 per additional *30-60 minute walks that you know were completed when you get cute photos from me of your pups! I currently take care of my mother part-time and so I have plenty of time to spend with your beloved furry family members. I'm hoping to gain enough clientele to continue utilizing Rover to help run my little side business with doing what I love!🐾💓 About Me: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, and I take great pride in making sure they are comfortable during their stay! I have all sorts of experiences with all types of different animals from the more common cats and dogs to birds, guinea pigs, snakes, rabbits, chickens, and even ducks! I have a plethora of knowledge in common and not so common animal behaviors. I have completed some college at the College of Western Idaho within my Animal Veterinary Sciences, and I hope to return to college to finish my degree when the opportunity arises! My experience in professional work ranges mostly in Kennel Technician work at a veterinary clinic called Intermountain Pet Hospital, a doggie daycare called Escape Canine Retreat and Spa, and at Positive Pets Dog Training! It may say that I only have 8 years of professional experience in caring for animals, but I’ve been a sitter and caretaker for dogs for as long as I can remember. I have been a part of the Rover Culture since March of 2018 and have loved being a part of the team ever since! Rover does have the right to take a fee of 20% from all of the services I complete through their website. With that said, tips are NEVER expected but ALWAYS appreciated. 💓 I am also not too shabby at capturing your pup’s natural beauty in photos so that when you’re away, you’re at peace of mind they’re being well cared for. If you would like to receive updates during your pup’s stay, I will be up to sending you as many personal updates that you would like of your pup each day, selfies with your pets, and anything else you may request! Thank you, and I hope you choose me as your future animal sitter! I currently help take care of my disabled mom as of right now, but I may need to get another part-time job to helps with living expenses. I have a fenced in yard that has no holes or problems. I follow the pets regular schedule to the best of my ability!! I hope to hear from you!

Kiva seemed good when I got home. You are spot on with your analysis. Thank you for your caring. I am sorry for your perception of miscommunication…..

Katelyn was great! Our home was well taken care of, and more importantly, our dog was totally at ease and happy when we returned. We have a German shepherd who really likes her routines, and we could tell that she got her needs met and more. Highly recommended!
