Pet care experience
My name is Katelyn DelTour, people call me Kate. I'm a proud pet sitter and walker through the Rover company. My entire life I have loved animals so dearly. I was raised in a rural area, not in a neighborhood, and all of my friends were the animals around me; because of my upbringing I naturally became an animal person and advocate. I have worked as a Kennel Attendant for a local Veterinary Hospital. Certain boarding facilities will keep your furry loved one in a crate or a kennel, including the hospital I used to work for. I know I wouldn't want my babies to be in a kennel for the entire time while I am out of town so I decided to become a care taker for pets. Please consider me to feed your pets, walk them, and bathe them while you are gone in the care of their own home.

Definitely would recommend Katelyn to a friend! First time using Rover and Katelyn was amazing. The pictures she sent during check ins of our dogs made us feel at ease since this is our first time having someone other than family take care of them.
Katelyn is seriously the best sitter I’ve ever had. I would not want anyone else to watch my babies and I know you won’t be disappointed as well. She ensures you see pictures of them, alerts you when she’s on her way, and always does everything you ask of her. Truly the best!

Katelyn provided excellent care to our cats and security for our home while we were on vacation. We particularly appreciated the genuine love and attention she gave to our Siamese cat Sammie! She took photos of her and Sammie interacting (pets and “kisses”) and we could see how much at ease Sammie felt with her new pet sitter!! Katelyn was also very attentive to the household chores we asked her to complete such as getting the mail and watering plants! She was punctual arriving for morning and evening feedings as requested, and we consider her to be both a professional and caring pet sitter- one we can rely on when we have to be out of town.

If you need me to do other things in the home such as water plants, bring in newspaper, or make sure the gardener gets their paycheck I will be more than happy to. I have experience administering medication to animals, caring for fragile and elderly pets, as well as exercising the rambunctious energetic types.

Let me know if your dog or cat experiences separation anxiety. I will make sure to spend longer in the home with your animal rather than just doing a drop in visit to feed and exercise.
A typical day
Walking, grooming, playing in their own home or around the home, and if client allows I can take the pet to a dog park or a large area to play fetch if desired.

Availability
I am currently available during a business week before 8am and after 5pm, with full availability on weekends. I can accept day of requests. I am willing to provide long-term care for your pet as well. I do not provide in house boarding or provide over night care. I only provide drop in visitations and socialization as well as walks.
