Pet care experience
I’m a responsible and experienced Rover who just moved from DC to the Shirlington area— super close to the dog park. I live with my boyfriend and our dog, Basil who is a 5 year-old greyhound. He is super chill and has been enjoying meeting all sorts of pups across the DMV! I have taken care of all sizes of dogs and have done Rover since May 2021 and love it. I have a car and enjoy taking the pups (and Basil) on fun excursions and send at least one photo a day, or more depending on parental preference! Our townhome does have stairs so I want to flag that for any potential senior pups. Check out my reviews and ask questions!

Things that are helpful for me to know include how they get along with other dogs or if they have special dietary restrictions (with a dog in the house, there is a potential for cross contamination).
A typical day
I have done a variety of outings with rover dogs. We live near the Shirlington dog park so that is always an option. Additionally, your dog will get a minimum of 3 walks per day. While I no longer run, I have been known to take them on walks in the woods, outdoor bars, and other/or snuggling/playing in the house.

I currently work a hybrid schedule (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in office) but make time to still get my greyhound PLENTY of time outside after work.
