Thank you for considering me for the important job of taking care of your pet. I started petsitting on Rover in 2015 after spending my teens and twenties caring for pets in my neighborhood and college town. I promise to treat your pet as I would my own so you can travel comfortably - as a pet parent myself I know how critical peace of mind is! I grew up in a household with multiple dogs, and my husband and I are currently the parents of a dog, two chickens, fish, and a cat. I have cared for my 70 LB dog (who has crossed the bridge) through multiple back surgeries from IVDD so I am very familiar with caring for dogs needing extra medical attention and rest as well.

Is your dog anxious? If so, do you have any tricks or tips for things that work best to put him or her at ease? Does your dog have any health concerns? Is there anything particular that I should be on the look-out for, or take extra care doing? What rules do you keep at your house? I'd love to know things like if you let your dogs on furniture etc. so I can keep everything as consistent as possible while you're away.
A typical day
I am a planner and fun lover by nature, and I would be sure to plan out many activities that your dog would enjoy if we were to spend time together. What we would do together would depend on your dog's preferences - whether that be any favorite walks, backyard play, or spending time hanging around the house cuddling!

Availability
I work from home, so house/pet sitting works well in my daily routine. As long as there is wi-fi access, I can work out of your home on my stays. I provide occasional drop in services and walks in East Nashville, and serve housesitting clients where I stay at a clients home around the city. When I housesit, I stay at your home to give your pets the attention and routine they are accustomed to. Having a meet and greet for first time clients is helpful to go over everything in advance and to make sure we are all comfortable.
