As Kate's dad, I know that she has loved dogs, pets and all sorts of animals since before she could walk. Dogs have always been her favorite and we always had dogs as she was growing up. She worked at a doggie day care for a while she was in school. She got her own dog, Birdie, as soon as she could after college. She is a great mom to Birdie; takes great care of Birdie; and loves to take Birdie on play dates with other dogs. I was recently reminded of how much Kate loves dogs when, without hesitation, she greeted two new dogs added to the extended family by sitting on the ground, loving and petting them as they jumped on her and ran around her as young puppies will do -- all the while laughing and smiling. On top of her love for dogs, Kate is very responsible and would take great care of your furry family members.
