I am a dog lover, always have been and always will be. I had a chocolate lab, named Parker, for ten years who showed me how to treat a dog unconditionally with love and respect. I get along with all of my friends' and family's dogs, and know how to greet them when we first meet. I am a compassionate person. And friends ask me to watch their dogs when they go out of town.

Kate is always amazing with our dog, Weezy! Whenever Kate comes over to our house she is always so excited to see Weezy and you can tell Weezy feels the same about Kate. Kate gives Weezy so much love and attention. They really are best friends! We definitely feel the most comfortable leaving her with Kate than anyone else here in Denver, knowing that she'll be very well taken care of.
Kate has always been the "Dog Whisperer" in the family! She shows compassion to any dog or puppy she meets in her daily activities, has the ability to identify with the various emotions of dogs, displays kindness through words of encouragement to cultivate trust and comfort upon their initial meeting , and consistent in following day-to-day responsibilities as required. Kate is quick to understand the dog owner’s instructions and effectively communicates with coworkers and clients alike. She’s terrific!

I would like to know if a dog has any anxieties. Sometimes dogs don't like other dogs, or people, or have had an experience which they would not like to experience again. It is important to me, to know these things before sitting him or her. I love medium to large dogs, Labradors & Pitbulls being my favorite but I really love all dogs and love mutts!
A typical day
I will always respect the owners requests. I would love to take dogs on walks in the foothills, on hikes, take them near water, to dog parks (if they get along with other dogs), etc. I will play fetch and hang outside with the dogs. I know dogs love being outside, so I will do everything I can to ensure they have a good and safe time.
