Pet care experience
I have had dogs in my house my whole life. I got my first dog of my own ten years ago and have trained him as a therapy dog. He is my best friend! I have also fostered before and have experience with dogs with special needs. I love spending time with dogs of all ages and sizes and I can build a connection with any dog I meet. I am available at short notice at practically any time of day. I am especially experienced with large dogs and have no issues controlling strong dogs on walks. I also have experience caring for and walking multiple dogs at once. I am good with body language and will be able to tell what your dog needs and how they feel so that they can enjoy the best time possible with me! I can't wait to meet your pup!

Kate is absolutely amazing! She treated my babies like they were her own. This was the first time I’ve ever left them with anyone and Kate made sure to give me updates and send me pictures. It made for a stress free work trip. My husband and I can now plan trips because we know our babies will be incredibly well taken care of.

A typical day
I love to walk dogs on interesting hiking trails because there are lots of fun smells for them to check out. I'll never rush a dog on a walk; half of the fun is just taking it slow and exploring! If your dog is more active, I love to exercise and would be happy to take them for a jog. I also enjoy one on one play in the home or in the yard. Fetch and tug of war are always fun!

Availability
I'm currently working as a fantasy author, so I can be home with your pet all day as I write on my computer! I also teach clarinet lessons, typically on Mondays, which is an online job as well. Not all dogs are fans of the clarinet, so if your pup isn't I'll probably need to be in a separate room for the few hours that I'm teaching. If they are comfortable with the sounds, I would love to have them hang out with me as I work!
