Dogs were always in my life as a child and a teenager, and I couldn't wait to introduce my own children to the simple pleasure of having one of their own. Our gorgeous Norwegian Buhund is very friendly and sometimes quite vocal, and giving her a loving home in our family has been one of the most rewarding things we've done: she had a bad start in life with her original owners, and we've had to work hard to help build her confidence. She loves exercise so we take long walks in the local parkland and along the river, which is a great place for her to make friends.
