Pet care experience
Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life, as my family has owned animals since I was young. I am a Fort Wayne native and am back home visiting my family for a few weeks before I begin my master’s degree in music on the East Coast. I have a bachelor’s degree in music education and four years of teaching experience with strong skills in communication and responsibility that would serve me well as a pet sitter. Rest assured that your pet is in great hands (and you will definitely get lots of pictures)!!

Kate is awesome! Our dogs were so excited to see her again and they seem comfortable and happy around her. She sends pictures and videos and provided updates. I know our fur babies are safe when she’s here.
Kate is wonderful with our energetic puppy! It was obvious because when Kate returned for a longer stay, April took toys to her feet and expected to play. It’s great to take a trip and have zero concerns while gone. Thanks, Kate!

It is important to know how to administer oral or injected medications (if applicable). Is the dog friendly with other animals, or should we avoid those interactions? Finally, it is helpful to know the dog's temperament and energy level so I know how much to exercise them.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the dog park if I have been permitted by the owner. It's always a fun time to see the dogs I'm sitting socialize and play with dogs in the community. I love walking on the Clear Creek Trail and you can find me walking your dogs there, too.
