I’d love to care for your pup🐕❣️
Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Kate. I’m 19 and I have a long history of caring for dogs. In the spring of 2018, my mom and I decided to start fostering for a local shelter. This brought in big, small, shy, old, and young dogs. I helped train, socialize, and destress these dogs before they found forever homes! Over the years, I have helped foster 22 dogs. It’s been a great experience to help me learn how to care for so many different dogs and needs! Along with that, I regularly dog walk and hike at local parks. I have boarded several dogs at my house aswell. I would love to help care for your pup next!
Reviews
There are certain people who have a special way with dogs and that is definitely Kate. She has watched our 12 year old basset hound for overnights and she was so loving and caring with him. Kate has a lot of experience with dogs and it shows. She was also very communicative in sharing little updates while our dog stayed with her. Her Labra Doodle Beau is adorable and got along great with our dog. We are so happy we found such a reliable sitter, and we look forward to hiring her again. Would highly recommend!
Kate is amazing! Reliable, always on time and a wonderful caretaker for our 80 lb dog. She has done everything from house sitting, babysitting, cooking for our kids, taking our dog to the park, on hikes and out to get special treats/ a pup cup. Anyone that uses Kate to help care for their animal would be so very lucky!!
Kate has been fostering dogs of all ages and temperaments with me since 2018. She also takes care of all of the needs of our own our labradoodle: Scheduling and taking him to appointments, giving medications, trimming his nails, enrichment activities, training basic commands, etc. She has tons of experience with transportation, care, feeding, walking, bathing, and just loving pups! Our house is very dog friendly- doggy door to a fenced yard, crates, gates, and a separate room available if needed. Highly recommend!
Kate has been dog sitting for my energetic golden retriever Casey Jones for the last year. I was fortunate to find Kate through a fellow animal loving friend & mom. Instead of boarding Casey I’ve been so grateful he gets to spend his time at Kate’s home with her & her older dog (which has been great for his socialization) Casey loves Kate and I’ve felt so comforted that when I travel he’s in good hands. Casey adores Kate and I know that feeling is mutual!

I have a fenced back yard with a neighbor who loves to feed treats over the fence! I have a crate that fits giant dogs if needed, I myself have a gentle giant. He’s a big boy who generally keeps to himself as he’s getting older, but he loves to play and encourages me to take him on hikes and walks. I have dog bowls and leashes/harnesses as well! I carry treats with me on walks aswell to keep each dog focused if they get territorial or distracted on walks.
Information Kate R. would like to know about your pet
Times for meals, meal quantities, and medication instructions if needed are important. Leash behavior and behavior around other dogs aswell. Also if I can give bones and treats:)
A typical day
A typical day with me would start with letting the pup out before breakfast at 6-8 as instructed. If boarding, I will take the dog to a park for a hike or a walk. The afternoon will consist of treats and playtime in the backyard until dinner at around 4. The dogs have access to the backyard (doggy door) at any time unless it hops fences or any behavioral reason for the doggy door to be closed. The next couple hours are lowkey, until around 8-9 my dog usually likes to go for a walk. any additional steps including medication can be added during the day.
