I've had a dog(s) in my life for as long as I can remember, but due to grad school, city living, and a landlord that prefers his apartment fur-less (this is a thing?), have gone without for several years. Just moved down south for a year-long clinical psychology internship at the university and wanting to save up some cash. Have experience with rescue dogs, as well as dogs (and people!) with anxiety. I fairly regularly pet-sit for a good friend, whose pup doesn't jive with other dogs, and can happily provide a reference if necessary. Also have experience with puppies: Our first black lab birthed 10 (runt included) on our living room couch when I was 8; apparently, I make a great amateur vet tech. Unfortunately, cannot board due to aforementioned landlord's stipulations, but I'm also Type A-level clean. And I have a car, so I'm willing to travel. Though I will be working a regular 9 to 5, I will be free most weekends! I'm also a runner, so I'll happily take your dog for one!
