Experience with reactive dogs
Pet care experience
I have experience with high maintenance dogs and cats with special needs. I currently have a senior cat with ongoing health issues and a high energy and extremely reactive adult Australian Cattle Dog who requires daily physical and mental exercise. I previously had a purebred Greyhound with food sensitivities, anxious and timid behavior, and a high fight-or-flight response. Additionally, I cared for my childhood family cat that required monthly therapeutic subcutaneous injections for the treatment of late stage kidney disease. I am comfortable delivering oral medications to dogs and cats.

My dog is always excited to see Kate for her walks. I appreciate Kate's attention to my senior dogs fluctuating level of energy from day to day and her willingness to go at her pace. At this stage of her life it's just as important for her to enjoy a simple sniff and stroll as much as get some exercise. I also appreciate Kate's reliability and flexibility. Highly recommend her to care for your pets.

A typical day
One of my favorite indoor activities is hide and seek with one of their favorite toys. Outdoors, I love trail running and gentle hikes on leash at Theodore Wirth and Shingle Creek. If your dog is a beach bum, I know lots of good swimming spots!
