It's their world-we just live in it
Pet care experience
My passion and love for animals has long exceeded my years of just physically caring for them. From rehabbing orphaned wildlife (including squirrels, rabbits, and more), to fostering rescued dogs and cats (of all ages), my heart and home are large enough to extend this love to your fury family members as well. I have three fur babies of my own: a 7 year old male rescued rottie/GSD mix named Tywin, a 2 year old rescue chihuahua mix named Lola, and a 6 year old cat named Kiwi Herman. I have a large fenced in yard (4 ft on two sides and 6 ft on the other two sides). I hate to see all this running space go to waste! Feel free to reach out with questions and requests. I'm happy to help with caring for other pets, watering plants, and more! I'm also happy to discuss pricing based on your particular needs.

Safety, trust & environment
My dogs typically have the entire lower level of the home to lounge when I'm at work. TV with cartoons, frozen kongs, full-size bed to lounge on--life is good. I can also accommodate if your dog is crate trained. Regardless, I prefer to watch dogs over weekends and evenings, so I can keep an eye on everyone. The backyard is fully fenced with a large deck, so plenty of room at run and play.

Information Kate L. would like to know about your pet
Special care, dietary, and behavioral information is helpful up front to determine if everyone will be a good fit for one another. I fully respect that all dogs are unique and even the nicest dog can dislike another dog for reasons beyond our understanding. Please be honest in preliminary discussions about behavior so we can determine the best meet-and-greet approach. And please don't be offended if I determine it is not a good fit! As a large bully-breed dog mom, everyone's happiness and safety is my #1 priority.
A typical day
My second story deck takes fetch to the next level, where the dogs can traverse a staircase back and forth, only adding to their exercise! During the summer month, I break out the kiddie pools and sprinklers for the pup pool parties.

I have a full-time job with a short 15-minute commute. I typically spend most evenings and weekends at home, which is when I prefer to provide boarding services, so everyone has my undivided attention.
