Pet care experience
I’ve been called a “Dog Mom” more times than I’d like to admit because of the love I have for my own dog, Macho. He’s a special needs Portuguese Podengo that is partially blind but fully adorable. My affinity for dogs started with Hutchinson, a Beagle my parents bought our family when I was 7. We haven’t had a dog-less home since then. Over the years I’ve done a lot of pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors and friends as well as taking care of my own pets but this is the first time I’m using an app to facilitate pet sitting jobs. I’ve been working from home for about a year now and have found that I have plenty of free time and would like to use my flexibility to earn a little extra cash.

Kate is great with dogs and lives an active lifestyle, so you know your animal will be safe and get plenty of attention and exercise. She takes great care when pet sitting and will give you peace of mind when you are away from your animal. My dog loves her, and I know he is in good hands when I need to travel. Awesome Service!
I have two energetic yellow labs that Kate has been sitting off and on for a few years. She is absolutely amazing with them and Berkman and Pari adore her. Kate is caring, careful, responsible, and professional. I am lucky to have such a great dog sitter nearby.
I’m a very nervous dog parent when I’m out of town and Kate is incredibly patient with me. She sends me photos and texts during the day and even lets me face time with my baby. I am admittedly hard to handle and probably a little bit of a hassle but Kate has never been anything but understanding and kind. I've know Kate since she was 7 years old. She is kind and affection towards all animals. She took care of my dog Yogi many times during his life. I never had to worry about him in Kate's care. I’d like to know how your dog behaves socially with other doggies (for everyone’s safety). I’d also like to know if they are a “flight risk". I’m always careful when it comes to shutting doors/using leashes but I had a hound dog when I was younger that took off every chance he got so I’d like to know before hand so I can be extra careful. I also will need to make sure your dog is on flea medicine/flea free before he comes over just to keep everyone’s pet safe from fleas.
A typical day
Your doggy will enjoy plenty of dog walks during the day and some off leash play in my fenced in neighborhood park. We will also play fetch and have lots of snuggles. If you’re comfortable with it/if your dog enjoys it - I would be more than willing to bring your dog to the beach for long walks, fetch and swimming.
