Pet care experience
My name is Kate and I currently a veterinary medical student at Virginia-Maryland CVM here in Blacksburg. I am a former Rover sitter myself and have now switched roles to being the client! I have two pets: a black lab named Lou Lou and a gray cat named Echo, both of whom are incredibly sweet!

Kate is professional, timely, flexible, and takes great care of our energetic lab. She stayed at our home to watch him over the long weekend and left our home better than she found it. We trust her with our dog and our home and highly recommend her.
Kate was a wonderful sitter for Lucy, taking her for walks and keeping our house spotless. You won't be disappointed with Kate's care of your animals.
I almost hate to leave this great review because I’m afraid it will make Kate harder to book!! She is really really good!! She stayed in our home for a week. We came home to a dog and cat who were totally fine, relaxed, and clearly well cared for the week we were away. And, our house was possibly tidier than it was when we left. Kate sent pics and was very kind with her praise for our furry family members. I was TERRIFIED to try Rover, but it was a great experience and I will be trying to book with Kate again soon!
Kate is phenomenal. She loves our pets like we do! We’ve used her numerous times and she always keeps us up-to-date while we are away and sends photos. She’s responsible, communicative, and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I like to take dogs for nice, long walks, and if owners allow me to, I also like to take them on a hike or some sort of trail (of course if it fits the dog’s capabilities as well).
