Pet care experience
I grew up with three Yorkshire Terriers and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, who required a lot of attention, grooming/pampering, and staying active with toys and walks. I’ve also taken care of/house sat for bigger dogs such as Labs, some of which require sticking to a strict eating/bathroom schedule. I’ve also housed two stray kittens so I’ve definitely had a lot of experience with different kinds of animals at different ages and with different personalities!

Kate is one of the most compassionate and responsible people I know. I’ve known Kate for quite some time now, and I can honestly say that she is an amazing person. We both worked in Japan for a year as teachers, and seeing her hard work with children made me want to strive to be a better person. Kate is educated with a degree from UC Santa Barbara, and has many passions and goals. She is not your typical dog sitter! I know Kate to have strong interpersonal skills that translates to treating dogs with care, compassion and patience. She often sends me photos of walking her own dogs! I know Kate is guaranteed to treat all animals and people involved in any work she does with respect, responsibility and kindness.
Kate is one of the best dog caregiver I know. She is my daughter so whenever I'm at work, she's the one who takes the dogs for a walk, plays with them, and bathes/grooms them when they need it. The dogs used to want to sleep with me at night, but now they only sleep with her!!
Kate has been a dog owner all her life. She is always very gentle, respectful, patient, and loving towards people around her and especially towards any pets. There are no terrible things to say about Kate and she is a wonderful dog-sitter, dog-owner, and overall a fun person to work with!

A typical day
I love keeping my dogs active and stimulated through walks and toys. I walk my dogs 5 times a week, and we play a lot of games including tug-of-war and food games for stimulation.
