Pet care experience
I spent the last year walking, sitting and boarding dogs across Bucks County. This experience allowed me to effectively practice oral & topical medications, execute patience with leash aggressive pups and successfully manage even the most high energy dogs. I have a few clients still in Bucks County that I care and who regularly request my care for their pets while I am on break from school.

I live in a 3 story townhouse with 2 roommates who both would love to have a pup around. The house is primarily hard wood and has a small concrete back patio. The neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks, trees and parks nearby. Many people in the area walk their dogs around so dog friendly pets are recommended but I have had no problems with walking some of my leash aggressive pups the past few months. There are no other pets at my home. When I am at a clients home, I am very respectful of your space. I will follow all instructions as provided. Previously, I have had clients ask me to sleepover and will have the dogs/cats in bed with me. I prefer to meet you and your pets prior to any sitting to ensure compatibility and safety for all parties.

We have a neighbor with a puppy who often barks so knowing your pups reactivity to other dog noises and street sounds would be great! Knowing if your dog is crate trained and/or sleeps in your bed nightly will be helpful. Any allergies your dog has is great to have as well (I have experience with a highly allergy prone pup)
A typical day
There are parks in the area so taking your pup to the park would absolutely be an activity I can provide. I am also an ex track athlete so I love to run. If you have a hyper active dog, I can absolutely run with them!

Availability
I am currently a Physician Assistant graduate student starting classes in Summer of 2023. My school schedule changes weekly but I can provide full time care most weekends. During the week, I am away from home for 5-6 hours. Living in Fairmount, there are plenty of accessible paths for walking and space to allow your pet to get some energy out.
