Pet care experience
I love animals, and have been so lucky to have plentiful experience with them! I grew up on a farm, helping my mom care for our chickens, goats, horses and 3 dogs! I fed, groomed, played with and trained all these animals daily. As soon as I moved to Baton Rouge for college, I adopted my cat, Roux, and she's been the light of my life since! I have been dogwalking and petsitting independently in my neighborhood since high school, and have acquired experience working for a popular local dog walking company as well. This has given me special experience with elderly and special needs dogs. I am excited for the flexibility and ease of communication of Rover, and to meet your best furry friend!

I'm a friend and former coworker of Kate's and she took care of my cat while I was on vacation! She did a great job, and even sent me videos of Scout so I didn't miss her too much.
I'm a friend of Katie's family and employed her to walk my two elderly greyhounds. It was good to find someone who took into consideration their age and slow pace, and they came back from every walk relaxed and happy.

Upon meeting your dog, I would like to know their name, age, any particular behaviors that are important to safety (barking at strangers, anxiety around other dogs, food aggression, etc.) and what their favorite activities are. Whatever I can do to make them as happy as can be! I have no breed or age preferences. I've never met a pup I didn't like!
A typical day
I'm available to take your dog anywhere you'd like! I can walk them around your neighborhood, my part of town (the Garden District), to the Highland Road dog park, or even for a swim! I'm also happy to bring them to vet or grooming appointments. If there's anything else you need, just ask!
