Pet care experience
I grew up with pets and helping to take care of other’s. I worked for a dog walking service a few years ago but stopped when I moved to Vermont, I am excited to get involved again! Currently I own a wonderful cat myself and am very involved with my friends’ dogs.

Kate takes excellent care of my dog, Trixie. Trixie is high energy but Kate keeps right up with her on walks, does a great job handling her on the Leah’s, and helps her run around to burn off some energy. I appreciate the early morning walks she has done with Trixie, and the love and attention she gives to my dog. I always know she will be well taken care of and safe with Kate

I take loving, detailed care of my own cat at home. I keep a watchful eye on pets, giving them the appropriate play time and attention they need in the safest way possible. I have a nice yard outside and live on the edge of a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walking dogs

A typical day
I am a runner and active person myself and love to play with high energy dogs that need to run around and burn off some energy! I also enjoy leisurely strolls with dogs, or just cuddling with and giving dogs attention that don’t want long walks. I also love spending time with cats, giving them plenty of pets and play time

Availability
I currently work as a resident at the hospital and work odd hours day and night. While this means my schedule is irregular, it also means I often am free during daytime hours, or am available early mornings or late nights to walk dogs- basically any time of day is fair game.
