I'll take care of your best friend!
Pet care experience
I have had dogs of all sizes and personalities for the past 17 years. I will work hard to form a connection with your dog, getting to know their unique needs, likes and dislikes so that our visits are fun and safe. I will make sure that your dog follows the house rules so that they do not form bad habits while you are away. I will make sure they are fed, given water, walked or let out at the specified times. I can dispense and administer medication as instructed and take your dog to the vet for appointments. If you are away overnight, I can also take care of the other needs of your house, such as watering plants or bringing in the mail. Most importantly, I will show your dogs the same love, affection and companionship that I do my own!
Reviews
Kate was terrific. She successfully helped my mom's dog get used to the electric fence. Very communicative and pleasant. And an obvious dog lover!
Bode loved his time with Kate and it was great to have the written report card of how their visit went. I had peace of mind knowing he was being well cared for, I received a great photo and a map of where they walked. I will definitely be using Kate's service again!
Kate is fabulous!
Kate is flexible and responsible. She was able to fit a couple of extra days in for me when my flight was diverted due to weather. She is great with all 3, she notices how Oliver is old and cold and no longer loves long walks, that Gunnar is super high energy, and that Nell is not too trusting of strangers (but she won her over!). We love Kate!

Information Kate G. would like to know about your pet
The basics: how often do you want your dog let out? Do you want them to have a walk, playtime or just a trip outside? When and how much should they be fed? Can they have treats and how many? Safety: does your house have a fence or invisible fence? Is your dog prone to escaping? Does your house have an alarm system? Who should I call in case of emergency if I can't get in touch with you? Fun!: what makes your dog happy? Where are their toys located? House rules: are they allowed on the furniture? Should they go in a crate when no one is home? Social: how are they with other dogs? Would they like to say hi or should we just walk past? (My general policy is to just walk past... you never know how an interaction with a new dog is going to go!) Training: are there any habits you're working on correcting with your dog? Do they know any special tricks? How are they on a leash? Fears: are they afraid of anything like loud noises, thunder, certain types of people? What do they do when they're afraid? What do YOU do when they're afraid?
A typical day
I try my best to provide variety in the activities I do with my own dogs and I will do the same with yours. Taking dogs for walks in new places ensures that they'll get the physical and mental exercise they need. But if they just live for playing with the frisbee (like mine does), then that's what we'll do! A tired dog is a happy dog!
