Pet care experience
I'm 24 years old living in Blackhorse road. I’ve had pet dogs my whole life - from small terriers, labs and collies. I also did horse riding and so was surrounded by dogs from age 5 to 23 - including German Shepard’s and Rottweilers. Since moving to London, I can’t commit to one of my own full time but would love to be able to spend more time with dogs again. I have some experience with reactive dogs due to having a family terrier who wasn't keen on men or other dogs. I cycle so can easily travel to pick dogs up, take them for a walk and drop them off again.

Kate was really responsive and friendly. She made the effort to come and meet our (big) dog before dropping in on him and wasn’t phased in the slightest. Kate communicated well on the day and we’ll be happy to use her again! Would definitely recommend.

I'm happy to have dogs at my house, or come to you. My flat has a fully enclosed courtyard with lots of local dogs they can socialise with and run around off the lead. I have an open plan flat so plenty of space to play and relax

It’s good to know if a dog doesn’t get on well with other dogs or people. My terrier back home with my parents doesn’t like other dogs and can be nervous about men, so I am used to dealing with issues like this - but it just means I can try my best to take them to quieter areas if it suits better.
A typical day
I love walking down the canals near Walthamstow - Walthamstow to Hackney is one of my favourites. I live just down the road from Tottenham Marshes and have a loop I walk regularly. I also regularly head to Epping Forest and Hampstead Heath regularly and would love a dog to run around with. I also have a big enclosed courtyard at my flat meaning they can run around outside if staying over and can meet other dogs!

Availability
I'm currently working as a fashion designer in the office Monday to Friday so I'm generally available on weekday evenings, Saturday daytime and Sunday all day. I'm able to do overnight boarding if the dates fit, and can do evening sitting and walks. I love doing big walks on the weekend during the day and a dog just makes them better!
