Pet care experience
Hi there! I am currently a graduate student who is working part time and looking for a stress relief experience with working with animals. I am looking for clients who need their own dogs walked or visited occasionally throughout the day, as well as those needing house sitting services. I have had a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs, including big, small, old, and young. I have been responsible for caring for my own dogs throughout their lives as well as occasionally dog sitting for friends and family. I have experience caring for older dogs who need some extra care such as medication and lifting them to and from places. I also have experience with dogs who have has surgeries or are in casts as my family dog has had knee surgeries. My main goal is to spend as much time as I can with as many dogs as I can!

Before I work with a dog, I would like to know their personality. Primarily, I would want to know how each dog with react with others, including adults, children, other dogs, and other animals. I would also want to know anything that may cause that dog agitation in order to prevent any discomfort for the animals I care for. Ido not have any breed preferences.
A typical day
I would love to take the dogs I interact with on walks in their neighborhoods as well as out of neighborhood excursions (with owner permission of course!). I would like to take them to a new areas to expose them to many different places. Fun activities I would like to do with the dog I am caring for is to play with them, as well as take them on walks for them to have a chance to run and play.

I am currently working part-time while attending graduate level courses in Social Work. This allows me a plenty of time during the day to spend with your furry family members!
