Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog my whole childhood and I was responsible for helping to care for her. I raised 3 dogs together for over 15 years with my husband so I have experience from puppies to senior dogs. I now sit for friends or neighbors pets when needed .

Our vacation in Utah was planned. Days before, our dog sitting plan fell through. Rather stressful for us ... with a spirited Malinois puppy on our hands! So grateful I found Kate! She was friendly & responsive. We setup a meet & greet for the next morning, we all got along, and had that warm, fuzzy feeling immediately. We would and will call Kate anytime our pets in 2 households need some TLC while we're away. Needing and readily finding amazing help that works perfectly ... priceless!! Thank you so much Kate!! 🙏😁

Thankful to have found Kate to watch my beagle Molly. It was clear on first stepping into Kate's home that she and her family are very welcoming to their four-legged visitors. I appreciate Kate's attention to detail, taking the time to do a meet-and-greet and making sure she had a write-up of Molly's routine, vocabulary, and any issues or concerns. During Molly's actual stay, I received daily updates and pictures - though I always crave more pictures 😊 - and Molly was clearly comfortable with her new friends. I certainly hope I will be able to book Kate to take care of Molly in the future.

I have a home which I raised 3 dogs in for over 15 years. I allow the dogs on the furniture if welcomed by the owner but can keep them off if not. I have a fully fenced in backyard and live very close to multiple roads and hiking trails that lead to the beach. If it is a smaller dog that just wants to hang out I am great with giving lots of attention. I also love to walk, run and hike so I can tailor the care to your pet's needs and wants. I also love to cook and if allowed could include fresh pet treats during their stay. My children are used to animals and old enough to help out when they are home. If I am in your home I will adhere to your rules and needs for your pet and will leave everything just as I found it.

I would like to know ahead of time if your dog is friendly with children so I know if it’s the right fit for my family and for your dog.
A typical day
I will definitely spend time outside with your dog as long as that is something they love too! I can do a couple of shorter walks for smaller or older dogs to hikes and a run with a higher energy dog. I also love the beach and playing fetch. I will give your dog lots of attention and am home most of the day so pretty much can cater to any needs/wants.

I am currently at home with my children in school all day Monday - Friday. I have plenty of time during the day for walks, hikes or any type of care that is needed for your pet.
