Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my entire life! I grew up on a hobby farm with horses, goats, dogs etc. and absolutely love having animals in my life! I now work as a nurse here in the cities and do not yet have any pets of my own, so I am very dedicated to caring for other peoples animals. I currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment that is dog friendly with no breed restrictions. I have a handful of parks and walking trails right by my apartment building, so getting outside on walks is very convenient! My building also has a pet friendly rooftop with a potty pad for all dogs, as well as a dog washing station.

Kate was wonderful with my 4 y/o AmStaff Isla! She was very professional and took time to get to know Isla to make her stay comfortable and safe. While we were gone, Kate communicated frequently and I felt very confident that Isla was in good hands. We would definitely book with her again in the future!
Kate was amazing with Mowgli! She took care of him at the last minute when another sitter had to cancel, and was really communicative the whole time we were gone. Mo seemed at home with her right away, and she even gave him a bath! We'll be sure to book Kate again.
Kate was so great! Lou looked like she had a lot of fun, got plenty of love and snuggles! She is very trustworthy and would definitely book with her again.
Kate was so amazing to my pup while I was away! She made sure they had everything they needed and were as comfortable as possible. It was so nice and reassuring to know while I was gone that they were in good hands getting lots of love, attention, and play time. Will definitely be asking for her help again!

I think it’s definitely important knowing how well a dog is socialized, both with other animals and humans! Knowing potty cues, how often they need exercise and general attitude and energy level is also great to learn about beforehand!
A typical day
I love trying new coffee shops, so I typically plan my dog walks around where I’d like to grab coffee (and I always make sure they get a treat too!)

Availability
I will not begin my nurse job until August so I am able to be very active and flexible with whatever your pets needs are! I typically provide at least 2 long walks (30 minutes) and multiple potty breaks per day, all depending on what your pets needs are!
