We are a family that loves pets that is currently without any pets in our home. We recently said goodbye to our 19-year-old Beagle mix, Mia, and while we are not ready to welcome a new permanent dog member to our family, we would love to be a temporary family and home to your pet. Both my husband and I work from home, so your pet will never be lonely. We have a fenced yard to play and two young children eager to pet your pup. As our late Mia was an elderly girl for many years we have experience with senior care, providing meds, and gentle assistance. We would love to provide a safe and happy home for your pet while you are away! We are always home! Both my husband and I work from home full time, so it is easy to give your pet plenty of love and attention all day. With 2 young children, we don't get out much after work either, and are used to planning around pet care. We have a 0.5 acre fenced backyard for play and a great neighborhood for walks. We have pet stairs to access furniture/beds if needed, and a crate that can be used for up to a 50 lb dog (though crating is not required in our house). We also have an elevated food/water stand for larger/older dogs and pet beds.

Kate and Alonzo did an AMAZING job with Bunny. We did an initial meet and greet to ensure Bunny would be a good fit with two small children. We asked each other questions and immediately saw how comfortable Bunny was with their family, she didn't want to leave! During the 10-day stay, they were very responsive in keeping us updated with photos and recaps of the day. They were also very attentive in administering eye drops for Bunny's allergies. Bunny fit right in and loved spending time with their family. I would highly recommend Kate and Alonzo for any sitting needs, you can't go wrong!
Best dogsitter my dog had ! They were sending me pictures all the time and kept me updated. My dog was very comfortable and look like he found a home away from home :)))
Kate and Alonzo did an amazing job taking care of our dog! This was the second time we’ve used them and she was so excited to see them. It brought me a lot of comfort knowing she was happy while I was away. I can’t wait to use them again!

With two small children we cannot accept any pets with aggressive tendencies. Please let us know of any behavior or special needs in advance! Even non-aggressive but high energy big dogs can be a lot for the little ones sometimes! We do require a complimentary meet & greet in advance of bookings to make sure our family will be a good fit for your pet. We look forward to learning about your pet's likes and dislikes.
A typical day
We live in a great neighborhood for walks near several parks. We will throw a ball and play tug of war in our fenced yard and curate activities for your pet's specific temperament and preferences.

Availability
We love to make your pet part of our family for their stay. We work from home, so potty breaks are easy in our fenced yard, and we like to take a 20 min family walk after work most days. If your pup is leash trained we love to have them join us, included in the boarding fee! If your dog needs additional walks in the morning we can add a walk for $15/30 min.
