Pet care experience
I grew up with small, medium and large dogs. We owned Yorkies, German shepherds and an English Pointer. I have helped care for them since I was around 12 years old. I moved to Alaska 2 years ago to be a live in dog nanny for two Pit Bulls. I am back to CT and looking to connect with locals to help care for their animals.

Kate did a GREAT job!! When she first showed up she was really enthusiastic and greeted me with a big hug!! She was not the least bit intimidated by our big loud girl! We had an unexpected medical issue with Ruby and she needed medication every day. Kate did not have a problem with getting the drops on her sore! She even brought in the mail and watered my plants! Got pics and updates every day! I cannot say enough good things about Kate and would recommend her to everyone, but NOT IN AUGUST!! Lol! Can’t wait to see her again in August!
I highly recommend Kate, you will not be disappointed!! Kate watched our Maggie girl many times. She is a dog lover who grew up with dogs so it was easy to see how good she was going to be with our girl.

I always walk dogs on leash unless in a fenced in area. I also require a meet and greet with owner present to make sure it will be a good fit for the animal(s) and myself. I also find it helpful to know the animals biggest motivator (treat, toy, attention, etc) to help get their attention quickly if needed.

I am currently unemployed so my schedule is open- and I am motivated to work. This also means I’ve got a bit of flexibility. I could also use the extra steps 🤣
