Pet care experience
I have always loved any animals from a young age and have pursued that love into getting a job linked to that. I have worked and still work in a pet shop for over a year now where we get so many different kind of pets including dogs come in, fitting harnesses, calming them down if they get stressed during the situation and rewarding them for good behaviour. I grew up helping with my family members dogs as well as dog sitting on certain nights needed which help me get more experience with them. I’d love to walk them or pop in whenever you need me to on my days off as I hate to think of them alone when I can be there for them any time. I also drive so I can get to any local place or if it’s a bit further away.

I love Kate’s attention to detail the way she pays attention to my dog Troy. She will pop buy with all the new treats from pets at home where she works and Troy knows her name when I tell him she’s on her way. If Kate has time she will walk him for a bit but mostly just spends a bit time in the house entertaining him, that keeps him happy. If Kate could she has told me she would have a house full of animals she’s just amazing with my dog. I would recommend Kate to walk dogs in need of walking as she’s responsible and mature with a lot of care to go with it.
Hi there Kate is very reliable when I need her to walk my dog Bella. When it’s not convenient for me to walk her Kate will help out as soon as she’s available on that day with great communication to me. Kate is trustworthy and my dog loves her. I feel very comfortable when Kate walks Bella and it makes my life a lot easier as I’m getting older now and can’t walk the distance I used to, it’s just great to know Bella is getting good exercise with a confident dog walker and she knows all of Bellas friends that on the field and will give her time to mix with the other dogs at ease. I would highly recommend.
Kate is extremely passionate about all animals dogs being her favourite, she is patient and caring for her animals, this is one of the reasons working at pets at home, Kate doesn’t own a dog only because of commitment in the home but looks after and cares for her grandads dog, she has 2 cats and a hamster and more if she could but works hard and only has so much time. Kate will protect her animals and keep them safe, looking into best nutrition for them and any protection ie temperature outside and keeping them safe from any harm

If it’s a big dog (45kg) I’d like to know if it’s trained to stay by my side if any other dogs walk past as I would worry I could not control her/him. My grandads dog is 40kg and she doesn’t react to other dogs so I can easily handle her. I’d also prefer if the dog was friendly with other dogs.
A typical day
I like big fields where we can run about or play fetch if they are allowed off the lead (or an extendable lead). I always keep them on a short lead if near roads or if there’s any shallow rivers or the beach they can go to that they’d love I’d love to take them there as I love places like that too.
