I'm a 24 year old college student going into a major for Journalism with an interest in current events and animal welfare reporting. I've owned and loved animals since I was young, from fish to small mammals to our big 80 pound goldendoodle! I've raised several dogs from puppies younger than two months, and understand that younger dogs can need a bit more care and am willing to work with you on a schedule for your baby. If you have an older dog or one with special needs, I know that they often require careful attention or medication, and can follow strict feeding and medication guidelines if need be. If you have smaller animals like rodents or reptiles as well, I'd also be willing to help out with those on overnight or petsitting jobs. Along with having experience caring for dogs, I've also cataloged time training them as well. Whether that includes house training, leash training with a face collar, shoulder harness, or regular leash, or even teaching simple tricks, I find positive reinforcement and training plan tailoring to specific learning needs to be the best solution to a dog who pulls on the leash or has a bit of trouble sitting on command.
