Hi! My name is Kat and I’m happily retired— more time to spend with my guest dogs!! Guaranteed exercise!!! A fully fenced yard; doggie door in spring to fall Trips to parks and rivers/canal for the swimmers! One of my clients always refers to my place as "Kat's DisneyLand for Dogs" :) I have my Pet First Aid certificate from St. John's Ambulance Special care for elderly dogs e.g. medications administered I have a Morkie - Daisy (recently adopted from previous clients) She has a great personality and looks forward to playing with your special dog! Your pet will have full run of my home ....NO crates... (unless requested) We welcome other fun-loving dogs into our home to get special attention! LOTS of cuddles, play time and exercise!! I am more than happy to speak with you about your needs and the needs of the furry ones! Pictures and Videos sent to you to see how happy your dog is!! Many Happy Letters of Reference available! Our first impression after meeting Kat was that she was a genuine dog lover. Our dog has been under her care multiple times now. Benzo loves her and loves going there. Kat is everything you are looking for in a doggy daycare. Her service is over the top.
Kat has been our dog-sitter for about 5 years now. When you (and your dog) meet her you will immediately recognize her great love for dogs. She is happy, energetic and kind. But, most important, she is also competent and diligent in her care-giver duties. We never feel we have to worry. Your dogs won't be in a kennel or pen, they stay with her in her home. And, with constant access to a fenced yard, multiple walks each day, as well as special trips to off-leash parks, our dogs don't feel abandoned when we go on vacation, they feel like they're on vacation, too. We highly recommend Kat.
Kathryn Stevens-Kat/Kitty is an amazing caregiver for your pet. She loves pets more than anyone I know and I am pretty sure my dog loves her more than me. She not only looks after your dog but she will do some grooming, bathing, and exercise and socialization galore. My dog is happy and exhausted after a weekend with her.
Hi Kat is a wonderful dog sitter. She loves dogs and they love her. Kat has taken care of our dog on several occasions and we feel completely comfortable leaving her with Kat. I don't have any breed preferences and have experience with the tiniest Yorkie named Fudge who weighed in at 2 pounds to Mountain dog named Smokey weighing in at over 120 pounds. I prefer dogs to have their nails clipped prior to a home stay and expect they are other dog and people friendly. This we can easily tell by a mandatory Meet & Greet. I like to know if a guest dog has fears such as thunder and what they like best such as frisbee or Chuck-It. I expect all dogs are house broken and non-markers. All dog guests get lots of snuggles and my attention.
A typical day
I am new to the Niagara area after 40 years in Ottawa. I have discovered wonderful parks, woodlands, off leash dog parks (Fireman's Park and Elm St Park) and of course...the Canal and it's many paths! Daisy loves the car rides to the parks. We visit my friends who also have dogs to keep their minds stimulated with new adventures!
