About Jada

I rescued my dog when she was about 8 months old, she is a staffy/bully mix. She has a lot of energy and a free spirit. I have never met another dog who is as gentle, sweet, and kind but i would love to.

About Mickey

We recently adopted Mickey oh, he's a very sweet little dog but he definitely has an attitude of entitlement. He loves attention but he doesn't like to share attention. He's currently not neutered as of August 29th 2018 but we plan to rectify that shortly. I've been working with him for several months on some of his behavioral issues due to him being unneutered. He will rarely mark But if he does with a firm voice say Mickey no marking! And he's less likely to do it again in the future. He also has an issue with humping male dogs, mostly male poodles haha! But just like with the marking if you catch him humping just with a firm voice a Mickey no humping! I'm hoping once he gets neutered he will calm down within a few months and I won't have to deal with these issues any longer. He gets a half a cup of zero grain salmon and sweet potato dry dog food once a day. He gets 2 tablespoons of canned tuna as well as one raw egg mixed in with the dry food. At night he sleeps in his crate with his donut pillow and his Spider-Man ball. Since Mickey is completely hairless except for his head and tail he must wear his pajamas at all times. He gets a warm sponge bath every week on Sundays with his Hartz soap his sponge is under the kitchen sink in a Ziploc bag labeled dog sponge. Afterwards you'll need to rub him down with his cocoa butter on anywhere that doesn't have hair. His pajamas need to be changed every 2 days. When I do change his pj's I like to look and make sure he doesn't have any pimples or anything forming if he does I usually give him a warm sponge bath right away. Mickey is allowed to play out back only, if you are going to take him out then you can take him out in his doggy Bjorn and he must be wearing his harness and have his leash attached to the harness at all times. If he has to go potty he will let you know by walking near the door. As long as he has his donut mattress and his Spider-Man ball he's comfortable in his crate for up to 4 hours. Mickey has some anxiety issues he does a reverse sneeze when he gets over-excited. Other than his maintenance issues he's a pretty easy dog he gets along with pretty much all the other dogs. Sometimes he growls when he meets a new dog but that's just him being a tough guy and asserting his dominance. He definitely has a Napoleon complex. He's a good little guy that will sleep next to you all night if you let him but if he wakes up before you do he's definitely going to Mark on all the furniture before you wake up.
