As one of her closest friends, I can honestly say I have witnessed Kat working with animals on a regular basis. She has many animals of her own, and I have also visited her at the Kentucky Humane Society. I have never seen anyone so compassionate and caring towards animals. She has a sort of intuition when interacting with dogs. She always seems to know what they need and how to approach and gain their trust, regardless of temperament. Speaking to her about her work at the adoption agency and about her own adoptions, Kat fills with passion and light as soon as her dogs are brought up. I know she can and will form positive, trusting relationships with any dogs she encounters. I would trust my own dog with her before anyone else. -Kate W.
