Hello! I’ve loved animals my whole life and have had pets since I can remember: from caring for fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs, to caring for abandoned baby raccoons and birds. I specialize in puppy and kitten care as well as senior pet care, but all ages and species are welcome! I also practise eco friendly and low waste living and reflect that practise in my animal care. Background and Experience I was a lucky dog mom to a Jack Russel/Parson Russel mix for 11 years. Even in her golden years as she developed cataracts, she was full of energy and still liked to play tricks and be sneaky, as Jacks and Parson do. She also suffered from anxiety from a puppyhood trauma. Because of that, she taught me to be alert and aware of dog behaviours, good and bad, and intervene as needed. Towards the end of her life, she required a lot of extra care and attention to ensure a peaceful and quality end of life. I have experience in caring for many dog breeds and ages, from a 10 week old golden doodle to an adult Great Dane. I have taken care of senior dogs and dogs with visual impairments. I also have 2 years of cat sitting experience with kittens, adults and seniors as well as various experience in caring for fish, snakes, guinea pigs, hamsters and rabbits. Values I believe that building trust is key in any animal relationship. Each individual animal is special and has a unique personality so custom care is necessary to build a relationship in which the animal trusts their handler. I believe this will ensure your fur (or scale) baby is as happy and as stress free as possible while you’re away. Sustainability I want to ensure I run my business in an environmentally mindful way. As such, I only promote my business online and with sustainably sources flyers and business cards.
