Thank you for your interest in my profile! I am excited to meet you and your pets of all sizes, species and ages. I love dogs and I also have an affinity for cats, and have 2 of my own. I work around all types of animals and farm-house-petsit as a part-time lifestyle. I have reliable transportation, am a trustworthy choice, and can provide references upon request. I live a clean healthy life, do not smoke or do drugs. I would never bring my own pets or other people to my pet/house sits and respect your house rules completely. Ever since I was a child I have always had a natural connection with animals. Our first family dog, a black Labrador named Dama, lived a healthy age of 15 years old. I also grew up with cats, my pet guinea pig, chickens and ducks. My first jobs around age 12 were pet sitting my neighbors and family friends dogs. Sometimes I would brush and bathe the dogs, take them on walks or just play with them and keep them company, This I preferred much more than playing with other kids. In my past adult years and as a stay-at-home-mom, I started my own house & pet sitting service after working many years in the corporate world. This brought me back to my natural love, working with animals, cheering them up while their owners are away and being outdoors. I feel a greater sense of satisfaction in life knowing that the animals that I care for are happy, engaged, with positive interaction and feeling secure in their home environment vs. lonely, stressed/bored or staying in a strange place such as a boarding kennel. I am also experienced and available to work with your exotic pets and farm animals, housesitting services and property caretaking. I have spent the past 5 years caretaking in a remote location in Oregon managing a private vacation spot off-grid operating on Solar Technology. Living in the wilderness has enabled me with an entirely different skill-set, where survival skills change completely, simplicity and nature become entwined, and life itself becomes less materialistic and taken for granted.
