Pet care experience
I've taken care of my family dog (husky!) since she was 6weeks old until she was 5 years old (when I moved out for college). I am very familiar with feeding, bathing, walking, playing, and dealing with stubborn dogs. I've taken care of dogs for my neighbors when they are away, fed my highschool teachers' cats for a while, and dog/house sitted for a friend.

I booked Kat because I had to take a last minute day trip out of state. She stayed in my apartment with my small dog while I was gone, and she did an incredible job! She’s trustworthy, friendly, and sent me pictures of my dog throughout the day. Would recommend 100%
Kat was amazing with Bernstein! She is very responsive, sends lots of pics, and took great care of our pup. She did an overnight with B and he definitely had the best care! Couldn’t recommend Kat more!
Last summer I was in a pickle and I needed a last minute pet sitter. Kat was very flexible and was able to board my dog for the week even on short notice. When I got back, my pup was so happy and relaxed, I could tell he had a wonderful time with Kat. My dog has some health conditions that require daily medication and a special diet, and Kat took excellent care of him. Kat was very responsive throughout the stay and sent regular updates & photos. Will definitely book Kat again in the future!
Kat is an excellent petsitter. She has looked after my two cats on numerous occasions, not only feeding them, but spending quality time playing with them. She even provides "proof of life" videos and photos and if possible will FaceTime me in to greet my fur-friends. I can highly recommend Kat for all types of animals - from cats to hamsters to axolotls.

Let me know if your dog needs any special attention such as frequent potty breaks, medication, etc. I am very responsible and will make sure your dog is well taken care of.
A typical day
I strongly believe that pets deserve both mental and physical enrichment to keep them happy, and I'm excited to provide that for your dog. I have many toys and a lot of energy to play with dogs. I live right near fenced dog parks and also enjoy going on long walks that will be accompanied by your dog. There are streets near me that are quieter, so I can accomodate dogs who enjoy things to be less sociable.

Availability
I am mainly a music performer so I occasionally perform shows, but I mainly work at home. I live right next to Tompkins, so the dog park is very close by. My boyfriend lives with me and he is very good with animals as he's grown up with multiple dogs and cats. No matter what, at least one of us will be in the apartment to keep an eye on your pet!
