LIFE UPDATE: PGH LAST APPOINTMENTS JAN 3, 2022! I will be moving to the west coast mid January 2022 and am willing to take repeat clients through the 2021 holidays. Thank you to all my current and former clients for being so wonderful to me over the years! LGBTQIA+ safe space. She/her/hers pronouns. Please note that I use a bicycle for transportation. Due to this, some neighborhoods are unsafe or too far for me to access. I apologize for the inconvenience but I will have to turn down locations that are inaccessible for me. I've had a pet in my home since before I was born. I love cats the most, but big dogs are a soft spot for me. I have a 19 year old that I've had since she was a kitten! She is living a life of luxury in the summer, enjoying free range of a closed in balcony space. I regularly check in on my friends' cats when they are out of town. Other small critters are definitely welcome! Animals bring so much richness to life. I get really excited when I see dogs out and about. I really love pets and cannot imagine my life without them. I look forward to helping others give their pets rich lives.

Kat is so great with our cat! We love all the photos that she sends and her little notes about the visits. she is such a great cat sitter and we trust her wholeheartedly to take care of our cat while out of town. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a cat sitter in the area! She is really awesome and super super nice!!
Kat absolutely spoiled my cat…I think she managed to sneak hours of snuggles and scritches into each half hour she spent with him. Kat also was timely and a great communicator, and I would not hesitate to book again.

I am fully vaccinated from COVID-19. I will continue safety measures of washing hands and wearing a mask in homes, while sanitizing as necessary. I have worked with aggressive cats and dogs in the past, and am pretty good at reading body language. I am comfortable handling large dogs. Nervous or hiding pets are welcome, as I always make sure to locate them in the home if they are hiding.

Knowing their specific cues for playtime are good, as well as any behavioral quirks or specifics from pet parents. If out walking, I never let dogs walk on the car sides of streets, just in case. I welcome all breeds but have a soft spot for medium to very large dogs. All cats and small critters welcome as well!
A typical day
Cats that like to play are a joy, as my old lady doesn't play too much anymore. I'm also fine with cats that are distrustful or wary of strangers and know when to leave them be. For dogs, I like a good 20-30 minute walk and prefer more quiet streets or trails. Parks are perfect for smells. I will happily snuggle any affectionate pets.
