Pet care experience
I've worked with Rover for over a year now and it truly has been a joy! I love working with animals and helping care for other people's pets/fur babies. We always had pets growing up so my love of animals has been a life long thing. I've dog sat for friends over the years and helped care for our elderly dog in the last year of his life after cancer surgery. In the past year I've had lots of experience with different kinds of dogs, some that needed more extra special care than others. I've found that some dogs take more time than others to trust new people and have found patience to be my greatest tool. I've also gained experience in giving different types of medication to both cats and dogs. I'm very respectful of others homes, privacy, and preference of their pets care.

I prefer to know about any health concerns or behavioral concerns beforehand just so I'm aware. I've had some dogs that are not ok with other dogs or other people and I feel for my and your pets safety it is best for me to know this info before caring for them.
A typical day
Every pet and their needs are different. Some dogs like to walk for as long as possible while I've had others that only want to walk for 10-15mins and then play fetch for the rest of our time.

Availability
Aside from running my own business, which is very flexible, I also work part time at a crystal shop in Powell. I'm normally there Wednesdays & Fridays but will occasionally pick up extra hours. Days that I'm at the shop I can take walks or check ins until 10am before work. Other days of the week are very flexible for me, most weekends are normally free too unless I'm doing a vending event. I try my best to update my calender availability frequently and am big on communication.
