Pet care experience
**If possible, please do not send a request if you have already sent one to another sitter and are still waiting to hear from them. Receiving requests without securing a booking hurts our profile scores. I respond as soon as I see messages and look forward to working with every potential client I hear from. Thank you!** Hey there! I’m Kat. I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds, from the horses, goats, dogs, cats, and bunnies I grew up with, to the pigs, cows, chickens, and many other species I’ve spent countless hours with at animal sanctuaries. And yet, I’ve maintained a very special bond with dogs. In addition to unbeatable cuteness, I see in every dog a remarkable capacity for sweetness, bravery, and forgiveness that makes them more than worthy of my utmost respect and care. They have been my best friends for as far back as I can remember and have taught me lesson after lesson about love, soul, and loyalty. I have also rescued and lived with cats on and off throughout the years, and genuinely adore them and their company as well! After having a very successful Rover career in Berkeley and being particularly known for sending *lots* of adorable dog pics, I moved here to care for my ill mother (who despite her illness is possibly still more energetic than me), along with our husky, Luna. We take her on a hike every morning, walk her through the neighborhood every evening, and play with her a ton throughout the day. Despite her size, she is extremely dog-friendly and submissive, and we would all love to have a dog friend join us on our adventures every now and then! (However, if having another dog around is an issue or concern for you, they could easily be separated within our house.) While I am the primary sitter and point-of-contact, my mother has made it clear that she is more than willing to help out, and we are both committed to making sure your little one receives the highest level of love and attention possible. ❤️
Reviews
Kat is a great sitter !! She is very communicative, and gives consistent updates with awesome pics !! She is very attentive to our dogs individual needs, and gives very detailed updates. We never had to wonder what was going on with our two dogs because kat was on top of everything. She enjoyed our dogs very much, and they certainly enjoyed her. House was exactly how we left it as well. Highly recommend Kat to anyone.
Kat is an amazing pet-sitter! She watched Nina for 3 days and sent us constant updates and pictures. She is very caring, loving and extremely responsible. Nina is a Yorkie (3.5 pounds and 11 months old), she did not have issues with Luna who is playful and full of energy. I felt very lucky as it was my first time using Rover...It was a terrific experience and I will be contacting Kat for future boarding.
Kat was excellent with my puppy Kiki! She put my mind at ease with her words and all the pictures I saw of Kiki having fun!
Kat, was so sweet and so kind to watch our fur baby for us. She sends updates and the cutest pictures! She also took him on a hike, which I thought was so kind of her. She also has the cutest dog named Luna which my dog fell in love with! I definitely recommend her If you’re looking for someone to show love and to have a play buddy!!

Information Kat C. would like to know about your pet
How anxious are they when staying in a new place? How well do they get along with humans and other dogs? What are their favorite activities and unique personality traits? Do they have any special needs, care instructions, or schedules?
A typical day
We live right next to the Long Canyon Trail, which we walk to and through every morning with Luna. If your dog is more of a couch potato – no worries! Dogs are allowed on my bed, and I will happily stay inside with them if they prefer.
