Pet care experience
Growing up, I was the caregiver of a dog I received as a birthday gift from my parents. She was a Westie named Maggie Mae. We were absolutely inseparable. As an adult, I’ve taken care of numerous friend's dogs and cats. Most recently, I occasionally watch a little Havanese in Hanover, NH for week long time periods while their owner travels. I stay in this owner’s home while they travel. I absolutely love spending time and taking care of pets. It brings me a lot of joy, and I do whatever I can to have a comfortable, fun environment for animals to thrive.

Kat has always been very sweet and caring with our dog Luna, and she also took great care of our four cats when we were out of town. She was attentive and asked questions about their care to be sure she understood what they needed, and she even brought over a new toy for them. We came home to a full water bowl, clean litter boxes, and four happy felines. I definitely recommend Kat for pet care!
Kat is amazing with animals. She is loving, cuddly, and responsible. We know our pets (two cats, one dog) are in great hands whenever she's with them. They all love her and scurry over when she's here to get in line for pets, affection, and attention. I couldn't recommend her more.
Kat sat for my dog over several week-long vacations and is an outstanding pet sitter. She is thoughtful, reliable, caring and my dog loves her! She listens and communicates well, and is completely honest and trustworthy. She is willing to take my dog for long walks and outings. She is a reliable house sitter as well. I highly recommend her and feel lucky to have found her!
There are no words to express the amount of stress relief it is to have Kat care for your fur babies. Structure, care, kindness and most importantly consideration. My three cats and dog know they are cared for with Kat.

While watching animals in their owner’s home, I make sure to maintain the environment so the pet is at ease. I am also very respectful of the owner’s home, and always keep a tidy space. Every pet has different needs, and I am open and willing to cater to the individual needs of the pet. I am very active, so a pet with lots of energy is not a deterrent for me! I enjoy being outside and taking walks/hikes.

Please let me know of any medication needs for your pet. Also, any preferences the pet may have for playtime, walks, being around other dogs/cats, treats, meals, cuddling etc. I would rather know more information than too little just so I know how to optimize the time your pet and I have together. I want them to feel as much at ease as possible.
A typical day
I really enjoy going for walks daily. I also like hiking; especially taking advantage of local trails and mountains. I find it a lot of fun playing different games the pet enjoys. Whether that is playing fetch, chase, or hide-and-seek to name a few. It’s always nice to have a good cuddle with a pet too!

I work from home most days. My job is almost completely remote. My work schedule is also very flexible. I am able to set most of my own work hours.
